Fully Alive

“He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”  Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” -Matthew 16:13b

“The Son of the living God.”  Did you catch that?  Living, Living God.  So often, our focus is on Jesus being alive and seated at the right hand of God, that we tend to miss that God, Himself, in all His fullness- is fully alive.   God the Father- is alive!  God the Son- is alive!  God the Holy Spirit- is alive! AND- God’s Word is fully alive and active!

The whole of who God is- is fully alive!

And today, if you are a child of God- adopted into His sonship, then you, too, are to be FULLY ALIVE as He is in you and is fully alive!

Do you feel His fullness?  Are you in a place to experience His fullness or are you empty today?  Just know that whatever your answer- His fullness if fully available to you for the taking.

Remember, “faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1 ESV).  Do we always “experience” faith with our senses?  No.  But it is a promise to those of us who believe and step out into that faith.  As is His fullness!  So even if you are not “feeling it” right now, be assured that He is alive in you and that expectation of Who HE is and what HE can do is alive in you, as HE works in you and YOU live out your faith in Him.

We don’t always feel like “showing up”.  But guess what?!  You don’t have to “show up”, just trust Him in His fullness to fill you up with every bit of Who He is, because He is already there- in you!  Tap into His power today by just claiming this promise in faith!  And I promise, you WILL feel His fullness…

He is fully available.

Fully available to:

Forgive our sinful nature when we accept Him as Lord and Savior…

Save our lost souls…

Teach and admonish as we grow in Him…

Minister to our spirits…

Restore what is broken…

Comfort our hurting hearts…

Bring peace into our spinning worlds…

Heal all our wounds…

Bind up the brokenhearted…

Answer when we call on Him…

Give life and life abundant to all who seek Him…

Be our sure foundation in an ever-changing world…

Call us Friend as our constant companion…

Dawn on us hope and life everlasting…

Live out His name, Emmanuel- God with us.

In every way, He is with us… already fulfilling His promises to us whether we “feel” it or not.  So today, let’s choose to embrace Him and rest in the knowledge that He is good and faithful and can be trusted…to believe His promise that His fullness is in us through the power of the Holy Spirit and we can experience His fullness in a way that- like faith- may not always be according to our senses- but always according to His purposes… for you and for me.  And THAT is a promise worth holding on to!
